A running Google Maps pin post for most of the places we stopped during our +7 year sailing journey. Because of the age 1985 of our sailboat and intention of the diesel engine was to get you in and out of harbor. Not to get to your destination, as thats what the sails are intended for…… So often down the ICW, we would always motor sail to get up the speed so we could try to time the opening of the lift bridges (they were usually on the 1/2 hr or hour) so we didn’t have to station our vessel waiting with others vessesls. It got to be a collision course with tides, currents, wind at the passage openings to the ocean!
